Brief
This project includes the planning of the event’s opening activation as well as the visual design for the event. Neutron Star is an internal event at the company where visual designers from various departments participate in a two-month course-sharing and training competition.
Approach
I decided to use the concept of a “rocket” to represent the idea of launch and departure.
My Role
As the only member of this project. I created the overall visual concept for this event as well as the opening ceremony. The main idea revolves around a rocket symbolising the start of a journey.
Visually, the concept uses different visual icons to represent the company’s internal creative departments, such as type design, experience design, and brand design.
The event concept centres around a collaborative activity in which over 200 designers worked together to build a card-based rocket installation. This approach was designed to allow everyone to genuinely feel involved in the event.
Additionally, I also designed the participant gift bags.
